The Andhra Pradesh State Biodiversity Board (APSBB) is a statutory body constituted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh under the Biological Diversity Act, 2002. The Board is responsible for advising the State Government on matters relating to conservation of biodiversity, sustainable use of its components and fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising out of the use of biological resources.
Our mission is to ensure conservation of biological diversity, sustainable use of its components and fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from the use of biological resources and associated traditional knowledge.
